Prof. Morten Willatzen, PhD, Senior Professor Dr. Morten Willatzen is a Senior Full Professor at the Beijing Institute of Nanoenergy and Nanosystems, CAS. He also holds a Guest Professor position at the Department of Photonics Engineering, Technical University of Denmark and an Honorary Professorship at the Mads Clausen Institute, University of Southern Denmark. He received his MSc degree from Aarhus University and the PhD degree from the Niels Bohr Institute at the University of Copenhagen. His research interests include solid state physics, mathematical physics, piezoelectricity, metamaterials and flow acoustics. He is the author of two books ‘’The k.p Method’’ published by Springer in 2009 and ‘’SeparableBoundary-Value Problems in Physics’’ co-authored with Lok C. Lew Yan Voon. Books: 1. L. C. She spent one year at The George Washington University as a visiting doctoral student in 2017. After graduation, she joined the Beijing Institute of Nanoenergy and Nanosystems as an assistant Researcher. Her main research interests include molecular dynamics simulation, piezoelectric energy harvesting, and magnetic force.
